So one of my classes this semester is on business ethics, it's a required course. Which is fine. The class seems to be more on geopolitics, environmental issues, and some times possible conspiracy theories.
I actually like my professor, he's very intelligent and an engaging speaker, but you can tell why he's in academia, and not in the business (aka "real) world...and this is coming from the child of a PhD....
Not really sure what his point is most of the time but tonight we watched a documentary called "The Corporation." About the birth of the legal rights of companies, all the harm they cause to the planet, its people and its animals.....which is understandable but "companies" don't do anything, the people who run the companies do. So the people who don't like companies really just don't like people....
And many of the interviews were with Zinn, Chomsky, and Moore....quite the triumvirate....could have just as easily been Lenin, Trotsky, and Mao...
